Quantum Lockbox is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we employ industry-standard encryption (AES-256-GCM) and ephemeral storage practices, you assume full responsibility for the data you transfer.
1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture
Our architecture ensures that we cannot access your data.
- Client-Controlled Encryption: Passphrases are never stored, logged, or transmitted in plaintext. They exist only in your browser during the active session.
- Irreversible by Design: We do not possess your decryption keys. If a link or passphrase is lost, the data is mathematically unrecoverable. This is intentional.
2. Ephemeral Storage Policy
- 72-Hour Maximum TTL: All encrypted payloads are automatically and permanently purged 72 hours after creation, regardless of whether they were accessed.
- Burn After Reading: When enabled, data is cryptographically destroyed immediately upon successful decryption. No backups are retained.
3. Acceptable Use
By using this service, you agree not to upload content that violates applicable law, including malware, phishing exploits, or illegal material.
- Abuse Prevention: While our zero-knowledge architecture prevents content inspection, we reserve the right to block IP addresses or rate-limit access if abuse patterns are detected.
4. Data We Collect
- Encrypted Payloads: Stored temporarily (max 72 hours). We cannot decrypt them.
- Aggregate Statistics: Total lockers created and retrieved. No personally identifiable information.
- Server Logs: Standard web server logs may contain IP addresses and timestamps. These are rotated and purged regularly.
